I am not from NJ and know very little about the area, but really wanted to get married on the beach. I decided to contact a wedding planner because I work rotating schedules and I found it difficult finding the time I needed to plan my own wedding, especially when it came to me finding something in the Jersey Shore because I did not know where to look. I contacted 3 wedding planners and I was immediately drawn to Robin. Her friendliness made me feel very comfortable, so I decided to take a chance. I knew I needed help, so away with Robin I went. I had not met Robin and at least you are checking references because I didn't even do that I just went with my gut. I spoke with Robin a lot on the phone in regards to what I wanted and she asked a lot of questions I hadn't even thought of. We sent emails and pictures and got to know one another. Even over the phone Robin was able to get a feel for who I was and what I wanted. To be honest she is like one of my girlfriends. I bought my cake topper and sent her a picture. I found my invitations and I scanned them in so she could get an idea of what I was going for. I send her stuff all the time. If you are decent with computers Robin is very capable of discovering who you are and what you want. I am overall a little OCD and I want my wedding day to be perfect, so the idea of me turning my wedding over to someone else was a little daunting. What has been wonderful is that it didn't happen. This is still my wedding, Robin is just guiding me down this wonderful journey. When there is a time constraint on something she tells me. When she has an idea I don't like she moves on. She is not pushy, but she gets the job done. Robin has far exceeded my expectations. She has gotten vendors to do things I didn't think they would do. This woman can move mountains. When I finally got to meet her I was so nervous. Afraid to see the places and afraid we wouldn't get along in person. Let me tell you she is a professional woman who is perfect to handle my wedding day. She is fun and easy to get along with. The places she directed me toward (ultimately my choice) blew me away. Internet photos did not do it justice. The beach, the reception hall, the hotel, everything felt just so perfect. It was me. These places fit my personality so much better than I would have done. Robin is just as excited about your wedding day as you are. By the way, there are days that I freak out about the wedding and call her or send her an email with a list of questions and she has never failed to calm me down, answer my questions, and make me feel so wonderful about my wedding once again. I am so pleased and happy with my experience with Robin and the excitement I have for my wedding day trusting her to bring everything together there is not enough I can say. I do not know how you are making your decision, but I would recommend Robin to anyone that would listen. She has made this a wonderful, joyful experience with a lot less stress.
